Acne On Your Arms and Back

by admin on April 21, 2012

If you are struggling with acne on your arms and back, try cutting back on dairy food like cheese and milk. Certain studies show a link between the consumption of dairy and acne breakouts. The hormones in dairy, especially milk, may be responsible for increased production in the oil glands. Give it a try, and you may see clearer skin!

If you tend to get acne on your arms and back, there might be something wrong with the clothes you wear. You should wash them regularly, especially if you exercise in these clothes. Also, wearing tight clothes can irritate your skin and make it break out. Try wearing loose clothes, instead.

Did you ever think that talking on a cell phone could cause acne on your arms and back? Cell phones pick up the oils from your hair and face and deposit them back to your face. You can clean the phone with an alcohol-dampened cotton ball to keep it free from these oils. Also, hold the phone slightly away from your face when you talk.

If you have a blemish that will not go away, go into your freezer and use a piece of ice. Ice will help to reduce the swelling of your pimple so that it is much less noticeable when you go out with your friends. Additionally, this treatment will hasten the healing process, so that you are back to normal quicker than usual.

Cutting back on your coffee intake can help to prevent acne on your arms and back. Coffee is linked to increased hormone levels in some individuals, which can trigger acne outbreaks. Eliminating or even reducing, the number of cups you drink a day, might have a positive effect on your complexion and overall, skin health.

Try to avoid going to bed with makeup on ever again. Sleeping in your makeup clogs pores and doesn’t allow the skin to breath, causing acne on your arms and backĀ that could have been easily avoided. It also rubs off onto your sheets and pillows, leaving behind bacteria and oils that you’ll more than likely lay back in the next night.

If you’re concerned about your acne and wanting to minimize it and prevent future outbreaks, make sure you watch the amount of caffeine you’re consuming, and cut back if necessary. Caffeine, found in things like chocolate and coffee, can cause stress and so aggravate acne, therefore reducing it is key to good skin care success.

Working out is beneficial for the body, but it can often cause more breakouts. If you are prone to getting acne on your chest and back, switch to a body wash that contains salicylic acid. This is the main ingredient in several face washes. It will help unclog your pores.

If you have long hair, make sure that you wash it every day to reduce oil and bacteria. When your hair touches your face, it transfers oil to your skin, which can generate additional acne. Either limit your hair length or pull it back, to reduce the excess oil that comes in contact with your skin.

If acne on your arms and backĀ is a problem, consider sleeping on your back at night. When you sleep on your stomach, your face, neck, and chest are constantly re-exposed to the oils and bacteria rubbed off from your hair and face, re-clogging your pores. Also, remember to wash your sheets routinely!

Tips to Avoid Cystic Acne On Your Chin

by admin on April 17, 2012

Avoiding an acne breakout could be as easy as keeping your hands away from your face. You should prevent your dirty, oily fingers from touching your face. The oils and dirt on your fingers will be transferred to your face and will cause clogged pores, increasing the probability of breakouts. So be aware of your hands so that you don’t habitually put your chin in your hand.

To avoid acne problems, try to be aware of touching your face with your hands and then, stop it! Constantly touching your face with your hands, resting your head on your hand when bored or resting your chin on your hands while sleeping, transfers the day’s bacteria and oils built up on your hands to your face, re-clogging and infecting pores.

Zinc is one of the best vitamins that you can take for acne, as it helps to reduce the formation of free radicals under your skin. If you have cystic acne and want to reduce the bumps on your face, try taking a zinc supplement once a day to destroy your acne from the inside out.

If facial acne is a problem, consider sleeping on your back at night. When you sleep on your stomach, your face, neck, and chest are constantly re-exposed to the oils and bacteria rubbed off from your hair and face, re-clogging your pores. Also, remember to wash your sheets routinely!

Avoid acne by laying on a clean pillow case every night. Think about it. Your face is always on your pillow, so if it’s dirty and oily, that is going right on your face. Also, imagine yourself rolling and turning onto this every night. Avoid this contamination, by washing your pillow cases often and using a clean one every night.
